The venue, Yokohama, is one of the main port cities of Japan. As a gateway to the rest of the world, Yokohama has become a vibrant international city; today, too, it is an open port visited by many foreign cruise ships. The event will be held in Pacifico Yokohama, located on the waterfront. Yokohama is also home to one of Japan’s largest clusters of academic and technology R&D institutions among designated cities, including companies in the fields of life science, IT, and manufacturing, as well as R&D centers of global corporations, universities, and research institutes. By the word, GREEN×EXPO 2027 is to be held in Yokohama in 2027.
